FALL School Fees and Information

September 13 to 18, 2009

The Rug Hooking School Committee is pleased to announce the courses and dates for the 3rd Fall School to be held in September at the Ananpolis Basin Conference Centre in Cornwallis, NS.  Eleven courses are being offered plus On Your Own.

 

Course Descriptions are available on this website (Fall Courses) and in the Loop Magazine.  Please read the information carefully, fill out the application form and mail no earlier than April 6th, 2009.  You will receive a letter of confirmation plus all other school information after May 31, 2009.  Directions on how to reach Cornwallis along with a site map will be included in your letter of confirmation.

Refund Policy

If you cannot be placed in a class, you will be refunded the full $200.00.  If you withdraw prior to July 1st, your deposit less $75.00 will be refunded to you.  No deposit refunds are given after this date.  There will be no balance owing refunds after August 1st.

For Your Information

 

Accommodation

Rooms with private baths.  There are some stairs to climb and there is some walking to do, but there are parking lots at every besidevery building that we will be using so you may drive if you wish.  If you require a ground floor room, please make note of this on your application.

 

Meals

Champlain Hall is a dining hall with a spectacular view of the Annapolis Basin and meals are served cafeteria style.  Tea, coffee and snacks will be available in the morning in the Training Center where the classes are being held, tea and coffee in the afternoon, and tea and coffee in the evening.  These breaks are included in the cost of your attendance at school. 

 

Rug Hooking Vendors

The Rug Hooking Vendors will be located in the Training Center along with the classes to provide for convenient shopping. 

 

Rug Display

If you would like to bring two or three hooked pieces for display at school, you need to pre-register them.  You will receive a registration form.
